Community Development
Our Partnership and Social Policy team (Roxi Reeder and Julie Matthews) build relationships with a wide range of partner agencies to increase awareness of our projects and ensure a collaborative working approach to referrals, placing the client at the centre of their care.
We also advocate on behalf of our client groups when a social injustice is identified by campaigning and lobbying organisations to treat vulnerable individuals fairly.
Community Wellbeing Events
Community Wellbeing Events are an opportunity for members of the public to talk about money and debt, ask questions and gather information, and for local organisations to network and meet local people.
As part of our Transitions Project, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, Navigate regularly organises Community Wellbeing Events in Torridge and West Devon.
Join us at a Wellbeing Event near you to discover local services meet people in your community.
Social Policy – Providing a Voice
The clients we support are often exposed to discrimination, or face issues trying to access services or help.
One of the tasks we set ourselves is to provide a voice that raises these injustices with other agencies or into the public domain. Our aim is to start discussions towards effecting change or at least to raise awareness and challenge assumptions.
